American intersex activist Pidgeon Pagonis has created artwork in memory of Muhadh Ishmael, the intersex victim of a recent attack orchestrated by his hostile family in Kenya.
In a post on Twitter that’s illustrated with an artistic rendition of Joseph Odero’s photo of Muhadh in the hospital, Pidgeon urges, “Donate to Muhad’s funeral via firstname.lastname@example.org on PayPal, or buy a print & I’ll give 50% http://etsy.me/1JcBKP.”
Pidgeon is an intersex activist, lecturer and consultant from Chicago who has worked since 2006 to expand the visibility of issues related to the intersex community.
