Be Back Soon – With a Look At Challenges for DMAB Trans Persons Who Used To Identify As Gay Men

I will not be posting much except reblog until sometime Friday evening. I am working on a long personal post about straddling communities, Specifically gay/queer men and trans/non-binary persons. I find it challenging sometimes when their are divisions and differences between segments of the LGBTQ communities. I wanted to process that by relating my history, talking about how I was accepted as a gay man and how I am accepted as Trans and if and how lesbians, gays and bisexuals can work with trans and queer communities. If you identified as a gay man and now identify as either trans/non-binary or a trans woman I’d love to hear from you. I  think we are in a unique position to serve as a bridge between communities. The problem is that in some cases we saw some bridges burned on our journey. How do I relate to gay culture now and how bitter am I at the way gender non-conforming gay men were/are being treated by cisgender conforming gay men,
